Abstract:

In this study the activities of insurance companies that run in Turkey’s Insurance Sector which are seperated in two groups as life insurance and other branches have been indicated Towards this aim Data Envelopment Analysis technique have been used The findings that achieved as result of the analysis have been evaluated in terms of the company The DEA which is used to measure İt is of remarkable importance to measure the effectiveness of company to take decisions about the future Thus companies may provide a beter and more stable economy Key Words: Life insurance and other branches Insurance Effectiveness Data Envelopment Analysis Charnes Cooper Rhodes and Banker Charnes Cooper approaches
