Abstract:

The village and city monographies are as if a cultural photograph taken in the frame of the settlement place of our public which experienced a great change in all ways These works which provide the follow the changes of the cultural values of our public easily at the same time make it possible to do the more extensive studies on the rich recorded materials By the help of such kind of monography studies beside the general introductive information about the study area the change terms birth marriage death bayrams ceremonies and fests folk belierfs folk kitchen folk doctor the products of writen in verse writen in verse prose and prose anonymous folk literature are gained to our culture The monography studies generally given in the level of licence and postgradute in the departments of Turkish Language and Literature of our universities will be the important cornerstone of constitution of the cultural map of our country The judgements about the tradition and the products in Turkey wouldnt be realist unless such kind of the local studies arent finished The answer to the question about how the village and the city monography studies and the products of folk culture would be transfered from local to national and from national to universal In our study; we are going to try to explain the transfer of the heritance of folk culture which is being editted and searched to the next generations by starting from the sample of village and city monographies Key Words: Monography folk culture cultural transfer
