So many results that aren't mine?

Abstract:

This research was carried out with the aim of investigating the effect of project based learning approach in teaching science to the logical thinking ability of seventh grade students of primary education The research was designed with respect to” pre test final test control grouped” model The research was applied on the seventh grade students of a private Primary Education School in Ankara Province Yenimahalle District The experimental and the control groups of the research were formed before the treatment process via the “Personal Information Form” There were 22 students in both of the experiment and the control groups Logical Thinking Group Test was used as a data collection tool In the analysis of gained data statistical processes t test for independent groups t test for dependent groups and double factored Anova were used Statistical processing was made at the SPSS 11 0 program After the processing of data it was observed that the logical thinking ability of experiment group students was higher than the logical thinking ability of control group students and it was concluded that the effect of gender on logical thinking ability was not significant Through this research it could be concluded that science education that had been developed with taking the project based learning approach in center was more efficient in development of students’ logical thinking ability It could be considered that it was easier to reach the educational goals if this approach was being applied at science education This research which was applied on primary science education could be implemented on other disciplines e g Math Turkish Social Science… and the results could be discussed Key Words: Teaching Science Project Based Learning Logical Thinking Ability
