For individuals who spends very large part of his her life in organizations his her work is of great importance An individual’s working life can not be considered as is isolated from other areas of his her life Anything that affects an individual in organizations may spread out and affect his her life outside the organizations Individuals who are not satisfied with their work because of some organizational factors and are alienated may experience physical and mental disorders Individuals who try to work along with all those problems becomes an unhappy person both at work and outside the work As a matter of fact this situation is not a one sided problem It affects all parties including individual organization and society In this respect this study examined the effects of job satisfaction on alienation To do that a research has been conducted on Cukurova University administrative personnel Reserach findings indicated that there is a negative relationship between job satisfaction and alienation Among other demographic variables alienation level seems to be affected by only income level Keywords: Alienation Job Satisfaction Alienation in organizations Job Satisfaction in organizations
