Abstract:

Designing a woven cloth is a process of concept technique and creativity In recent years three dimensional woven surfaces are getting more important besides voluminous shirred and fluffy textures This research about the effects of using elastic yarn on three dimensional woven surfaces is based on reflective practitioner method which is evaluated by Donald A Schon and used in architectural design In this method design process is formed by the designer’s practitioner’s previous experimental design practices In the stages of sketching and weaving variety of creativity methods have been utilized to increase three dimensionality The creativity methods provided the designer to put his intuitions reality by guiding him Key words: Woven fabric design three dimensionality elasthane
