Abstract:

From the first periods of history to today, the story of Joseph and Zulaıkhawas transferred to this century included in written and oral folk literature and appearedas a religious story that all societies were interested in. The core of this study consistssof the story of Joseph and Zulaıkha that was from Ibn Abbas and could beidentified as a text from Old Anatolian Turkish in terms of both language and lexis. Inthis study, the seven copies of the tale that are available will be introduced and information will be given about the literary work assessing the copies.
