Teşrîfâtü’ş-Şu’arâ, written by Güftî from Edirne is the only tezkire in verse known in Turkish Literature. Güftî, not only poets’ literary personality, poetry features but also emphasized for any special cases like the size of nose, shortness of height, ugliness of voice, generosity, belief, sect, profession and expressed these special cases partly intelligent, humoristic and witty style. This humor and wit mostly – Formed in Ottoman area in the Turkish Literature, as guiding principle refusal of humor style humiliating human dignity; in a contrary way to the principle of acception of elegant, lovely, restrained and appropriate humor - turned into mockery and irony situation exceeding the limits of humor. Güftî, said that his purpose was a joke after attributing mostly severe and unpleasant imputations; moreover used the same nasty and rude imputations for himself. With this study, elements not exceeding the limits of humor in Güftî from Edirne’s tezkire called Teşrîfâtü’şŞu’arâ will be attempted to be evaluated with determining them
