Özet: Ahmet Naci’nin eserleri ve hayatı hakkında henüz bir çalışma yapılmamıştır. Eserlerine bakıldığında yazarın, Mekteb-i Mülkiye’den mezun olduğu görülür. 1307 tarihli Her Bahçeden Bir Çiçek adlı eseri onun, II. Abdülhamid döneminde önemli bir mevkide olduğunu gösterir. Ahmet Naci, bu eserinde çeşitli başlıklar altında toplum, siyaset, ekonomi, coğrafya gibi alanlarda bilgiler aktarır. Bununla birlikte Ahmet Naci 1330 tarihinde yayımlanan beş tane de roman kaleme almıştır. Yazar, Fehim Bey ve Margerit eserinde bir Osmanlı bürokratı Fehim Paşa’nın Alman Margret ile olan aşkını romanlaştırır. Ben Güzelim’de narsist bir kişilik yapısını işler. Zambak ile Lale adlı eserinde bir erkekle yaşamak isteyen iki kadının arzularını romanlaştırır. Yazar, Çılgın İhtiyar romanında dişilik ve erillik üzerine bir sorgulama yapar. Ahmet Naci’nin Talat ile Fitnat romanı ise öznenin beden üzerinde haz alışını konulaştırır. Bütün bu konuları ve bunları işleyiş tekniğiyle Ahmet Naci’nin döneminde oldukça avangard bir yazar olduğu rahatlıkla söylenebilir.
