Öz : Bazı olaylar vardır ki sonuçları milletlerin kaderine tesir edip çağının akışının istikametini değiştirir. Milletlerin tarihlerinde bu olaylar milat kabul edilir. Böyle tarihlerin öncesi ve sonrası arasında muazzam değişimler yaşanmış, o milletin kaderi etkilenmiştir. Bizim Anadolu’da ki tarihimizde de Malazgirt Zaferi’nin ya- şandığı 26 Ağustos 1071, İstanbul’un fethi 29 Mayıs 1453, Büyük Taarruz sonrasındaki işgalci Yunan Ordusu’na vurulan en ağır darbe olan Başkomutanlık Meydan Muharebesi’nin 30 Ağustos 1922 “milat” günlere en güzel örneklerdendir. 18 Mart 1915 Çanakkale Deniz Zafer’i de böyle bir gündür. İşte Çanakkale Muharebelerinde bütün dünya milletlerinin açıkça kabul ettiği gibi bir harbin sonucu üzerinde etkili olmuş ve bir milletin alın yazısını değiştirmiştir. Türk tarihi bakımından Çanakkale Muharebeleri büyük bir askerî dehanın idaresinde imanla silahın savaşmasında imanın üstün geldiğinin açıkça göstergesidir.
