Abstract:

The purpose of this research is to explore the relationship between the professional extinction levels of teachers of science and technology who work in the official educational institutions associated with National Education in the center of Kahramanmaraş province and their views on the curriculum. In the study in which the relative scanning model, one of the general scanning types, was applied, the "Personal Information Form" was used to obtain some information about teachers, the "Maslach Exhaust Reserve" scale to measure the teacher's extinction level, and the "Vision of the Teaching Program" scale. According to the results obtained; the level of professional extinction of the teachers of science and technology has been found at the normal level in the lower dimension of emotional extinction, at the high level in the lower dimension of sensitivity, and at the high level in the lower dimension of personal success. It has also been found that teachers' program relationship views do not show a significant difference in terms of variables such as gender and age, while the educational situation and some dimensions do not show a significant difference. Finally, the professional exhausts have shown a more positive view on the teaching program of the low-science and technology teachers, while the professional exhausts have shown a negative view on the teaching program of the high-science and technology teachers.
