Dynamic structure of social movements creates certain problems in terms of classification of the phenomena. Given meanings during evolution do not reflect the characteristics of the movements. Moreover absolute definition of analysis and differentiation of preliminary acceptance makes this phenomenon difficult to classify and makes it conceptually ambiguous. This article draws attention to this problem in social movements literature with a question of “What is the driving force of history?” and suggests dual classification for assessments of social movements’ morphological change. Dual classification groups the assessment of social movements by autonomy of productive powers and, union of relations of production and productive powers.
