Bu araştırma, okul öncesi eğitim döneminde yaratıcılığı engelleyen faktörlere ilişkin ebeveyn ve öğretmen görüşlerini belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu 2009-2010 öğretim yılında Antalya Büyükşehir Belediyesi sınırları içinde bulunan okulöncesi eğitim kurumlarında görev yapan öğretmenlerden 272’si ve çocukları bu okullara devam eden ebeveynlerden 493’ü oluşturmaktadır. Elde edilen bulgulara göre, yaratıcılığı engelleyen faktörlere ilişkin öğretmen görüşlerinin ortalaması ebeveyn görüşlerinin ortalamasından anlamlı derecede yüksek bulunmuştur. Ebeveyn ve öğretmenlerin yaratıcılığı engelleyen durumlara ilişkin görüşlerinin; ev-aile, okul-öğretmen ve çocuk, alt boyutlarına göre karşılaştırılmasında da öğretmenler lehine anlamlı bir farklılık bulunmuştur. Öğretmenlerin mesleki deneyimlerine göre, yaratıcılığı engelleyen durumlara ilişkin görüşleri anlamlı düzeyde farklılaşmamaktadır. Ebeveynlerin yaratıcılığı engelleyen durumlara ilişkin görüşleri ise cinsiyetlerine göre farklılaşmazken, eğitim durumlarına göre anlamlı düzeyde farklılaşmaktadır
This research was done to identify parents and teachers’ opinions about the factors that prevent creativity in the pre-school period. The study’s work group consists of 272 teachers working in pre-school educational institutions located within the borders of the Antalya Metropolitan Municipality in the 2009-2010 school year and 493 parents who continue their children to these schools. According to the findings obtained, the average teacher’s opinions on the factors that hinder creativity were significantly higher than the average parent’s opinions. The opinions of parents and teachers on the situations that prevent the creativity, compared with the family, the school, the teacher and the child, have also found a significant difference in the benefit of teachers. According to the teachers’ professional experience, their views on situations that prevent creativity are not significantly different. The opinions of parents on situations that prevent creativity are not different by gender, but significantly different by educational conditions.
