Abstract:

Today, field education research is determining the conceptual errors that students have in many subjects and testing new teaching strategies to fix these conceptual errors. Conceptual errors may have arisen due to didactic, epistemological, ontogenetic or cultural obstacles. This research was done in order to determine the causes of those that have didactic origins from the conceptual errors they have in the digestive system of primary school fifth grade students. For this purpose, didactic causes arising from the teacher, the curriculum and the curriculum were investigated by a survey used as pre-test and final-test to identify the conceptual errors with the digestive system of primary school students. The teachers, students and information-related data, which are the basic elements of the didactic environment, have been collected, visually analyzed. The reasons for the conceptual errors determined by making the analysis of the teaching programs, curricula, curriculum records and student interviews are determined from the didactic environment. It is believed that the knowledge of these reasons and the necessary arrangements in the teaching environment may prevent the formation of didactic conceptual errors. The errors of the concepts of didactic origin were identified while the errors of the concepts of epistemological and cultural origin were also referred to, but they were not thoroughly analyzed.
