So many results that aren't mine?

Abstract:

At the same time that the general name for the animal diseases and treatments are “Baytarname”, this name has been used for a fortiori horses and horse breeding in Islamic World- over and above, for the diseases of horses and treatments. When works and their contents written about this topic are examined, this affair can be more clearly apprehended. Those kinds of works about horses and horse breeding in Islamic World including horse diseases and treatments are such as on the whole “baytarname”, “riding”, “archery” and “swordsmanship” and they are called as “fürûsiyye, haylnâme, kitab-ı hayl”. Horses and horse breeding have been an important and meaningful topic in Turks and horse has been pretty important place in their life. In many Turkish governments, the names of positions have been determined according to horses and have always been a symbol of esteem and honesty in Turkish proverbs and sayings. In addition, verses from Koran and Hadiths telling about the value of horses helped reinforce these esteems and honesties. Horses in Turks were believed to be the second most honest one after human being. In Turks, especially in Ottoman Empire time, most baytarnames were penned inspiring from Aristo’s baytarnames and in time, they have been turned into a public figure. Interpreted by Tayyarzade Ata from an Arabic work, Tuhfetü'l-fârisîn fî-ahvâli huyûli'l-mücâhidîn is also an identity of work. In this article this translation work will be handled as an example of Baytarname and will be introduced
