Abstract:

This study, in order to determine the research trends in physical education, aims to study the studies conducted in the field of physical education in Turkey between 1995 and 2015 with the method of content analysis. For this purpose, 372 physical education articles, which can be accessed through the internet in 28 different educational journals published in Turkey, have been studied. Articles obtained in their full texts were evaluated using the revised publication class form for physical education research. Each publication is subject to content analysis with the help of this form and the data of the publications is recorded in a database. In the analysis of data, the SPSS 23.0 program was used. The obtained data is shown with appropriate tables and graphs as a result of percentage and frequency analysis. When the data obtained were studied in physics education; the articles published between 1995-2015 were discussed in the field of 'general physics' article, the subject of the article was given priority to 'learning'. The excess of the use of 'success test' and 'anket' is evident in the analysis results of the data collection method. The preferred sampling group was "Bachelor's students" and the researchers gave priority to the "t-test", "frequency-percent tables" and "quality imaging analysis" methods in data analysis.
