The purpose of this study is to review the thesesexamining social skills of preschool children in Turkey between 2000 and2013. The sample group of study consisted of 23 postgraduate theses and8 doctoral theses that were written on preschool social skills. It isobserved that a large part of postgraduate theses uses the survey methodand involves 6-year-old children. There is apparently one thesis from theage group of 4 years; whereas any thesis on social skills in the age groupof 0-3 years has not been conducted. In the doctoral theses generally theexperimental method is used and the children in the age group of 4 yearsare studied. It is observed that while there is no study on the age group of0-3 just like in postgraduate theses, there are two studies including the 4year-old group.
