The purpose of the present study is to determine the extent to which pre-service pre-school teachers adapt to university and elicit the relationship between their life satisfaction and general self-efficacy. For this purpose, the data were collected from pre-service pre-school teachers attending three different universities in 2013-2014 academic years. These universities are Afyon Kocatepe University, Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University and Denizli Pamukkale University. The participants’ adaptation level was determined with “University Adaptation Scale” developed by Akbalık. Moreover, to determine their life satisfaction level, Life Satisfaction Scale developed by Diener, Emmons, Larsen and Griffin and adapted to Turkish by Köker and Yetim was used. In addition to these, another data collection instrument of the study is General Self-efficacy Scale developed by Jarrusselam and Shwarzer and adapted to Turkish by Yeşilay. The study employed one of the general survey models, relational survey model. The participants’ life satisfaction, self-efficacy and adaptation to university are analyzed according to some variables and relationships between them are investigated.
