The aim of this study is to analyze the body languages of 20 classroom teacher candidates while they are lecturing in primary schools within the scope of Teaching Practice course. In accordance with the purpose of the research, teacher candidates were asked to record videos of their lectures and videos were analyzed in accordance with Body Language Criteria Form that was developed by the researcher. Data obtained through document review was analyzed in accordance with certain criteria and frequencies, percentages and references coming from notes of the researcher on the body language of classroom teacher candidates were shown in video analysis process of the research. Consequently, it was determined in this research that while classroom teacher candidates use positive body language like listening to students, heading towards students and smiling, they also use gestures showing that they are nervous like crossing arms on the chest and using small and confined arm movements or they use a body language limiting the communication like avoiding eye contact or heading towards a single student. These results show that classroom teacher candidates need to be informed about using body language.
