Zindan-i Köşk-1 and Zindan-i Köşk-2 Caves, geomorphologically takes place in the Aladag (3756 m) mountain range to the east of Central Tauride Belt of Taurus mountains. The caves, within the boundaries of Yahyali, Kayseri administratively and shaped in Permian limestones with napped structure. The upper cave, Zindan-i Köşk-1 Cave, which has entrance at 2095 m and 2115 m on the southern slope of the valley which Zindan stream carved more than 500 m, is a vertically developed cave with no visuality as regards dripstone deposits and with its shape resembling mostly a karstic vell. Zindan-i Köşk-2 Cave, [20] meters below, is a typical karstic cave in its class with near horizontal ellipse vacuum galleries, rich dripstone deposits, and other peculiar features. These caves, in their periods of formation as yet, exhibit temperate and dry features climatologically and fossil features hydrologically. If these caves are utilised for tourism, their landforms willbe preserved and that will contribute positively to the tourism of the region.
