Endemism emerges as a result of changes in ecological conditions and processes of plants in a complex structure, in a temporal and spatial perspective. In this regard, Turkey is one of the most important countries with variable ecological environmental conditions in the world with about 12.000 plant taxa and 3/1 endemic rate. The more accurate determination, evaluation, monitoring and preservation of this richness of the endemic plants is only possible if the distribution of the existing endemic plants and their characteristics are known. In this study, it’s aimed to transfer the location information of endemic plants in Turkey to the digital geodatabase. A number of methods have been followed in the study in parallel with the purpose of the study. Firstly, endemic taxa lists were created using the floristic lists in the ‘Red Data Book of Turkish Plants’. Then, this list was updated according to the book titled "Turkish Plants List, Vascular Plants". The location information of the distribution of endemic taxa in this list is determined by using "Flora of Turkey and The East Aegean Islands". After that, the determined locations were transferred to the geodatabase with geographical information systems software and thus 9677 locations of endemic taxa were obtained in Turkey were obtained. With the obtained database, distributions according to the region, section, province, flora regions, Davis’ squares system boundaries and region along with Turkey has been evaluated. Consequently, spatial and statistically analysable geographical data bases in the digital environment with parameters that form the environment such as climate, topography, lithology, soil and biotic factors that can be updated, questionable for the endemic plants of Turkey have been created and debated.
