Abstract:

Küresel neoliberal ekonomi, dünya çapında yarattığı büyük tahribatları meşrulaştırıp, kendi hegemonyasının sürekliliğini sağlayabilmek için bireyler ve toplumlar üzerinde sistemli bir normalizasyon ve uyum süreci başlatmıştır. Egemenler, üstten dayattıkları yapay bir kitle kültürü ile insanları yığınlara dönüştürerek yaşamlarını kontrol altında tutmayı amaçlamıştır. Oluşturulmaya çalışılan bu yapay kültürün meşrulaştırılıp kamusallaştırılması için çeşitli toplumsal araçlar kullanılmıştır. Bu araçlar, başta medya ve kitle iletişim araçları olmak üzere sanat, din ve bilim gibi hayata ve topluma dair hemen hemen her şeydir. Özellikle kültürle organik bir yakınlığı bulunan sanat, kapitalizmin öncü birlikleri gibi hayatın her alanına sızdırılmaya çalışılmıştır.
