The profitability of the banking sector has always been the main subject of the different researchers. In these studies, the micro variables coming from the bank specific data and macro variables coming from outside of the bank are used separately or together. However, till today, none of those scholars has concentrated on a specific banking sector so called “Development and Investment Banks” which is relatively important due to their specific targets and their functions in economy. In this research Asset Profitability of 10 Investment and Development Banks is analyzed through Panel Data Methodology between June 2005-October 2016. The quarterly published balance sheet data of the banks and the macroeconomic variables are used and the interesting results were achieved.
