Abstract:

Ekonomik küreselleşme, oldukça tartışmalı bir süreçtir. Yoksulluk ise günümüz küreselleşen dünyasındaönemli sorunlardan biridir. Bu çalışmanın temel amacı, küreselleşmenin yoksulluk üzerine etkilerini tartışmak ve küreselleşme sürecinde yoksulluk ile eğitim arasındaki ilişkiyi irdelemektir. Çalışmada küreselleşme üzerine farklı düşüncelere yer verildikten sonra, yoksulluk kavramı incelenmekte ve yoksulluğun ölçümü ve yoksulluğu etkileyen faktörlere değinilmektedir. Daha sonra yoksullukla eğitim arasındaki ilişki ortaya konmakta ve çalışma, küreselleşen dünyada yoksullukla mücadelede etkin sonuçlar alınabilmesi için, hem ülke bazında hem de küresel ölçekte yoksulluğa sebep olan faktörlerin ortadan kaldırılması önerisiyle bağlanmaktadır.
