The purpose of this study is to examine whether adolescents differ in their parental attitudes, life satisfaction and risk taking according to their positive or negative perceptions of adults. The scope of the study is composed of 905 students (434 girls, 471 males) who continue to the State and Private Anatolian High Schools in the Battalgazi district of Malatya. For the purpose of data collection in the study, Perception of Adults for Adolescents, Parent Attitude Scale, Risk Taking Scale for Adolescents, Life Satisfaction Scale and Personal Information Form were used. In the analysis of the data, t-test and variance analysis (ANOVA) were used. As a result of the study, it was found that there is a meaningful difference between the acceptance / affection dimension and the life satisfaction of the adolescents perceived by the adolescents who perceive the adults as highly positive and the adults as the low level positively. In addition, the findings showed that adolescents who perceived adults at a high level of negativity and adolescents who perceived adults at a low level were significantly different from the parental attitudes of the adolescents in terms of the psychological autonomy dimension and the risk taking of adolescents.
