The main aim of the research is to investigate problems encountered implementing project and performance tasks according to teachers' opinions. A scale was developed by researcher in order to identify problems faced in implementing project and performance tasks in the research in which the scanning model was used. The research universe consisted of 133 primary education schools in Eskişehir and 1910 expert teachers working in them while the sample consisted of 24 primary education schools randomly chosen and 242 expert teachers working in them. It was summarized as frequency (f) and percentage distribution of problems faced in implementing project and performance tasks according to teachers' opinions. Meaningful differences were researched by using T-test for gender, one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) for variables like field of study and educational attainment. Tukey multiple comparisons test was performed in order to identify groups in which there were meaningful differences in ANOVA results. Here are some results get by research: Lesson periods defined for performance tasks aren't enough to implement them in classroom, in that, it needs additional learning opportunities. Students get their project and performance tasks done to either their families or someone else. Furthermore, students spends time playing games or something like that on internet or at internet cafes under the pretext of researching project and performance tasks, then internet addiction grows. Finally, coming together and studying as pair or groups become problem for the students in implementing group project tasks.
