Abstract Organizations use different tools to motivate their members. To encourage members working according to the aims of organization and doing this by the means of rewards sometimes brings certain problems. In this research, it was aimed to investigate the reward system of ministry of education and the rewards given were evaluated by different variables. In this research document analysis method was used and through the e-school and brevity module of ministry of education, teachers' demographic characteristics and rewards informatioan were got. Datas were analysed by SPSS statistics programme. 228 teachers and administrators work at 6 different schools in the centre of Şanlıurfa forms the universe and from this universe 15 administrators and 44 teachers that had a reward once in their work life were taken as the sample of this study. As a result,no meaningful relations were found between reward-length of service, reward-branch, reward-employment, reward and the number of the employee.
