Abstarct Burnout is a common disorder that is seen in human service professionals. The aim of this study was to find out prevalence of burnout syndrome over teachers of Religious Culture and Ethics Education and to determine the factors affecting the level of burnout. The data was collected from 98 teachers of Religious Culture and Ethics Education, working in primary and secondary schools depending on the Ministry of National Education, by using Maslach Burnout Inventory and personal information forms. According to results, the teachers of Religious Culture and Ethics Education have been going through low level burnout in terms of emotional exhaustion, depersonalization and personal accomplishment. Also, it was found that there was statistically significant difference among gender, type of school that they work and order of reselecting teaching career whereas no significant difference by age, the type of faculty and geographical region .
