The objective of the study is to examine the internet addiction level of the 2013-2014 educational year students studying at Faculty of Education at KahramanmaraşSütçü İmam University with regard to different variables. The study has been conducted using descriptive survey method. The scope of the study consists of the 441 students studying at Faculty of Education at KahramanmaraşSütçü İmam University during the 2013- 2014 educational year and the sample consists of 337 students. In the study, “Internet Addiction Scale” developed by Young (1998) and adapted to Turkish by Bayraktar (2001) for determining students’ internet addiction level and “Personal Information Form” developed by researcher for determining the participants’ personnel characteristics is used as data collection method. Statistical analyses of data have been done thorough the SPSS 15.0 program. According to the results of the research, students’ total scores differed significantly with regard to their gender, duration of daily internet usage, social network usage and having personal computer. It has also been determined that there is no significant difference in their internet addiction in total score with regard to their academic achievement and having internet connection at their residential place or in their mobile phone.
