The aim of this research is to examine the validity and reliability of the Turkish version of the Contentment With Life Scale (CLAS); (Lavallee, Hatch, Michalos, & McKinley, 2007). Participants were 295 university students. Results of confirmatory factor analysis demonstrated that this scale yielded one factor, as original form (x2= 11.46, df= 4, RMSEA= .080, CFI= .98, IFI= .98, GFI= .98, AGFI= .94, SRMR= .033). Corrected item-total correlations ranged .31 to .61. The Cronbach alpha internal consistency coefficient of the scale was .73. Thus Contentment With Life Scale can be used as a valid and reliable instrument in psychology and education
