Abstract:

In this study, 12-18-year-olds and the same age group of children who are not committed to crime have studied the behaviors of the parents and the patterns and the styles of connection with the parents. The examples of the investigation were made by 102 children who have been convicted of crimes in Diyarbakır and Shanlıurfa province and 108 children who are ongoing to high school institutions. In the study, the measurement of the mother and father attitudes that children perceive was used by the 'Child Growth Styles Measurement' and the 'Friends and Parents Connection Reserve (EABE)' to measure the connectivity styles. The data obtained in this study was analyzed with the SPSS Statistics 23 package program. While the circumstances of the normal distribution of numerical variables were studied, Kolmogorov Smirnov was used due to unit numbers. The study used non-parametric statistical methods because the variables were not normally dispersed. The relationship between independent numerical variables has been studied with Spearman's Rho Correlation Census. When the differences between the two independent groups were studied, Mann Whitney U test was used. The differences between more than two independent groups have been studied by the Kruskal Wallis Test. The relationship between two independent category variables has been analyzed by the Ki Quadratic Test. The results were used as a value level of 0.05 when interpreted. According to the findings obtained in the study, there are significant differences in the attitudes of the mother and father and in the styles of connection between the infants who are committed to the crime and the children who are not committed to the crime.
