Abstract:

This study focuses on the problem of poverty, which is one of the ancient problems of mankind, and on human economic and social inequalities and the problems they lead to, which are also becoming more visible with global processes. The causes of poverty, the species of poverty, the women’s poverty, which began to be widely addressed in literature, the concept of social state that weakened with the global corporations moving towards the world system, the working poor issues, a new version of poverty, have been attempted to be revealed on the basis of numerical data. The methods of fighting poverty, global and local inequality; the studies of organizations such as the United Nations, the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund have been analyzed through the promotion of micro-credit, economic support and social state practices. After all, in the fight against poverty and inequality, the conclusion has been made that it is necessary to adopt a shared paradigm, away from the competitive understanding that covers the whole humanity.
