Abstract:

Providing occupational health and safety, and preventing losing lives due to occupational accidents and occupational illnesses are an important matter that almost every country gives utmost importance in the last a few years. When considered together with human side and economical scale; the matter becomes more important. Millions of people around the world lose their lives or get disabled every year. In the economical scale; 4% of Global Gross Income is lost every year. Countries develop various methods and policies as per their own economical and social conditions. In our country, the law regarding ``Occupational Health and Safety`` numbered 331 became effective in 2012. Specific duties and responsibilities have been assumed by Occupational Safety Specialists as part of the said law. In this study, protection function of job security as per labor law against injustice and discrimination that Occupational Safety Specialists may face while fulfilling their duties will be examined
