Abstract:

Of the 1,491,769 incidents that occurred throughout Turkey in 2012, 405,405 are theft. According to the report, 27% of the crimes committed in Turkey, or one in four, are theft. Also, considering that there are many theft crimes that are not reflected in the criminal records or not to the police, the dimensions of the crime in question will be much better understood. In the district of Jandarma, the crime of theft appears to be ranked in the first three places, along with crimes against life and body intolerance and crimes against freedom and honor. In addition, the crime of theft is one of the priority crimes that must be solved, due to the high ratio of fault, the fear of the crime it creates in people and the material and spiritual effects that reflect on every moment of their lives. In this study, in Turkey at the district level, the robbers were analyzed in the district level; for 2012 the intensity was shown at the district level, the socio-economic factors that influenced the robbers were determined, the time series analysis was used to make detailed robbers for the district level for 2015, and for 2023 the general projection was shown at the district level of the robbers to the district level. According to the findings obtained, the measures to be taken to prevent crime have been examined by a comprehensive approach under the four main titles: criminal, victim-oriented, situation and regional measures.
