Effective usage of visual and auditory media tools in music education field demonstrate an increasing development day by day. This situation reveals the consideration that researching the place of visual and auditory media tools which are being used almost in every field in music and instrument education in parallel is important. This research aims to present the usage of visual and auditory media tools with their positive and negative aspects. The research, in baglama education sample, is considered to be important in terms of emphasizing the contribution of visual and auditory media tools in music education. Qualitative and quantitative research methods were used together in the research. Therefore initially written and digital scan was performed related with the subject. After that the survey formed according to literature information and field expert opinions was applied to sample group. The findings obtained in the research were converted into tables expressed by simple frequency and percentage values so as to ensure ease of understanding for readers. If some of the important conclusions of the research are listed, the items below can be assumed to be the most significant ones: due to developing technological capabilities music education can partially be achieved by individual efforts (without requirement for one to one education); thanks to visual and auditory media tools, partial medium and advanced execution capability can be achieved in instrument education individually; thanks to developed technological availabilities, master-apprentice relationship and practice which are oldest Turkish music education methods continue to exist by transmogrifying ; baglama education supported by visual and auditory media tools increases general success, provide positive contributions to will of studying, positively affects execution performance and accordingly allowing the study time to be used more efficiently
