Teacher training and teacher recruitment are the priorities of our country as one of the priority and important problems. Individuals with special needs need to employ a sufficient number of teachers as well as the quality of the education provided to them in order to be able to truly benefit from the right to education. In particular, it is necessary to consider helping teacher employment as a priority education policy so that teachers who work with inadequate students can effectively carryout the teaching activities in the class and increase the quality of the education service to be offered to these individuals. There are no definitions of assistant teachers in the legal regulations in Turkey. It is a multi-faceted issue that needs to be discussed in order to train teachers in the field of special education in Turkey and to employ enough teachers to work in this area. It is difficult to say that this problem is taken seriously in our country and that the necessary staff are planned and met realistically. Taking into consideration the teacher training and employment policies in our country, it requires new political approaches and practices for training, selection, assignment, qualification of auxiliary teachers.
