The aim of this study is to identify the effectiveness of an integrated program of teaching values in 7th class Language Arts and Physical Education program related to the values about cognitive behaviors, affective characteristics and value display levels. In this study, in order to achieve the purpose, mixed design was applied. Research was implemented in a state school in Konak-İzmir, during the first period of the academic year 2013-2014 for the 13- weeks period. The experimental group received integrated values education program, the control group did not receive any special treatment. In both groups, as data collection tools; open ended question forms and basic democratic values scale, were used at the beginning and end of the program. Both groups were observed during the implementation. Three observers made the observations every two weeks. At the end the implementation periods, the interviews were held with 10 students and 4 teachers who lecture these two classes. Following results are found due to the analysis of the study; Experimental group pretest and posttest differentiation of value- related cognitive behavior acquisition levels and value display levels were found to be significantly higher than control group. No significant difference was found between the scores related the affective characteristics of the two groups. According to the results of this study, it can be said that the integrated program which was implemented during the teaching process has an effectivity of gaining values.
