Bu araştırmanın amacı, STEM uygulamaları ve tam öğrenmenin ortaokul öğrencilerinin akademik başarılarına, fene yönelik sorgulayıcı öğrenme becerileri algılarına, fene yönelik motivasyonlarına, STEM’e karşı tutumlarına ve bilginin kalıcılığına olan etkisini tespit etmektir. Pilot, oryantasyon ve asıl uygulama olmak üzere üç basamakta gerçekleştirilen bu araştırmanın çalışma grubunu 2015-2016 eğitim-öğretim yılında Muş İl Milli Eğitim Müdürlüğüne bağlı bir ortaokulda öğrenim görmekte olan yedinci sınıf öğrencileri oluşturmuştur. Eş olasılıklı atama yoluyla bu şubelerden ikisi deney, birisi kontrol grubu olarak belirlenmiştir. Söz konusu uygulama, yarı-deneysel bir çalışmaya dayalı olarak yürütülmüştür. Araştırmada elde edilen nicel verilerin analizinde SPSS paket programından yararlanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda, STEM uygulamaları ve tam öğrenmenin öğrencilerin akademik başarı ve fene yönelik motivasyonları üzerine olumlu etki yaptığı bulunmuştur. Dahası STEM uygulamaları ve tam öğrenmenin öğrenilen bilgilerin kalıcılığı üzerine olumlu etki yaptığı da tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca STEM uygulamaları ve tam öğrenmenin STEM tutum ve fene yönelik sorgulayıcı öğrenme becerileri ağıları üzerinde olumlu etki yapmadığı da görülmüştür. Elde edilen bu bulgular sonucunda, STEM uygulamaları ve tam öğrenme üzerine önerilerde bulunulmuştur.
