Abstract:

Globalization, as a process which includes economic, social, political and cultural changes, is an international process .Although there are differences among scientists about its emergence and identification, it is widely accepted that globalization is an interactional process that constantly extends and becomes complicated. In this process, there are two important aspects. The first includes the development of new global “image industries” and world markets by the changes in technology and the market, the other aspect concerns the developments in the local production and distribution networks. In addition to the hegemonic quality of globalization, the difference of development levels of countries leads to a certain number of problems like conflicts, dissolution and tensions especially in cultural field. On this basis, besides the inequalities in the quality of cultural products, the condition in production, distribution and possession, various tendencies of change (globalization- localization) are among issues which are create tension in globalization. In this frame, on cultural basis, cultural goods which have an important economic dimension, become products which surround our lives completely. From this aspect, it can be said that the interaction form of globalization, national and local structures has influence on the structural and development trends of globalization
