So many results that aren't mine?

“Saz” is admitted as an important element of ashiks’ identity. Nevertheless, some masters of ashik poetry didn’t play saz in the 19th century. As is the case for Ashik Ali Doğan who is a member of the tariqat called Kadirilik doesn’t play saz, but he uses some musical elements while performing his poetry. The purpose of this article is to discuss why an ashik does not play saz, and to explain the causes why the ashik who uses musical elements while performing his poetry, although he does not play saz and to discuss the term “aşık” and if it is necessary to know how to play the saz for one to be consired as an ashik
