Abstract:

This study is a practise experiment of the criterion in Classification of the Anatolian Dialect which have been designated by Leylâ Karahan to the Gaziantep Cepni Dialect. This study occurs in two parts. In the first part, some information has given about Cepni clans and the centre of populations in Anatolia, today. In the second part, Gaziantep Cepni Dialelect has been evaluated according to “Properties That Has Determined Main Dialects Groups” designated by Karahan.In this examination, The East Dialects Group, The West Dialects Group, The Northeast Dialects Group have been taken up, differentiative features have been exposed. Gaziantep Cepni Dialect has been examinated according to this differantiative features. In the conclusion part of the study results has been given on a schedule. Gaziantep Cepni Dialect’s sample text also takes part at the end of the study
