Abstract en'The hu m an beings ha\>e expected God's help \vhen Ih ey foıınd themselves in diffıculty since they have been created. They sometimes tried to reach their expectations directly, sometimes tried to reach them by means of saints. Before 'Turks accepted islam, these expectations were fulftlled throııgh the acengy of Şaman 's and o ıh er religious men. However, after islam, these men gave their places to saintsjnystics, dervishes. People accepted them as holy and they visited their graves and proyed for God t here. Throııgh the acengy of these divine men, they believed that God would accept their prayers. These belives changed in time, the gra\>es and the tombs of these holy people have been religious places which were visited by many people. People who visit these places, pray for God, they teli their troubles and sufferings and they expect help from God ihrough the acengy of these holy people. When their expectations come irue they vowe something such as sheep in order to sacrifice in the name of God. The ar ti ele talks about the holy tombs and graves in the region of Alanya and olso in its viilages. It talk about the religious belives as.
