Abstract:

Abstract enThe purpose of this reseach was to examine the effects of the Communication SkillsTraining on Preschool Teacher Candidates’empathic tendencies and empathic skills.A total of 60 female students (20 students as experimental group, 20 students as control group, 20 students as plecebo group) participated to the study. Empathic Tendency and Empathic Skill(B-form) scales developed by Dökmen (1988).were administered to all of the subjects.In pre-post test measurements, significant differences were not found between empathic tendencies of experimental , control and plecebo groups.More for empathic skills, while significant difference was not found between pre-post test of control and plecebo groups, meaningful difference was found the prepost test of experimental group.
