Abstract enThe purpose of the study was to develop valid and reliable Likert type scale to measure primary school studentsâ attitude toward Science and Technology. In order to develop this scale, literature survey was carried out and studentâs compositions (n=55) were analyzed to prepare a trial form. It was presented to experts (n=15) for evaluation. After modifications based on their comments, a new trial form which was formed 62 item was administered to the 7th year students (n=653). Factorial Analysis was done with the obtain data, and Item- Scale Correlation, Cronbach Alpha Coefficients were calculated. The Cronbach Alpha Reliability Coenficient for the Attitude Scale of Science and Technology is 0,94. The last form of scale was formed by 44 attitude items which were gathered in 3 sub-factors. Thus, The Attitude Scale towards Science and Technology, which was developed for students taking Science and Technology course, can be used to designate studentsâ attitudes towards Science and Technology by teachers of Science and Technology, instructors or counselling teachers.
