Abstract enThe purpose of this study is to examine the views of pre-service teachers about their professional development and the facilities supporting learning at their universities. The data was collected from the pre-service teachers attending Pamukkale University and Van Yucuncu Yil University. For quantitative data a total of 134 pre-service teachers filled a questionnaire named âUniversity Facilities Supporting Learningâ developed by the researchers. Focus group interview was conducted for the qualitative data. The pre-service teachers indicated the handicaps for professional development such as preparing for the staff selecting exam, lack of facilities at their universities and lack of orientation.
