Abstract:

Abstract enThe aim of this study is to determine the job satisfaction level of academic staff working at university. For this purpose, 182 academicians, working in a university in Turkey, were applied a questionnaire. According to results of the study, it was concluded that academic staff job satisfaction level was generally good. However; it was concluded that while job satisfaction level showed no difference according to the number of children, experience status and marital status of the academician, it showed difference according to age group, academic titles and department of the academician.According to another result, it was concluded that academicians working in faculty and school of higher education were less satisfied with their jobs than ones working in vocational school
