Abstract:

Abstract 2007 yılında açılan Nevşehir Üniversitesi yeni açılan üniversiteler arasında hem fiziki hem de akademik açıdan hızla büyüyen ve hızla gelişen genç bir üniversitedir. Çağdaş üniversiteler arasında hızlı ve gelişmiş teknolojik bir eğitim anlayışı içerisinde yer alamaya başlamış olan Nevşehir Üniversitesi’nin bünyesine kattığı yeniliklerden biri de bilgi teknolojileri vasıtası ile yürütülen uzaktan eğitim programıdır. Bu çalışmada Nevşehir Üniversitesinde ilk defa 2012-2013 eğitim öğretim yılı Güz döneminde ve bazı dersler için uygulanan uzaktan eğitimden beklenen başarı grafiği araştırılmıştır. Bu amaçla, uzaktan eğitim alan öğrencilere anket çalışması uygulanarak bu öğrencilerin memnuniyetleri, beklentileri ve sorunları tespit edilmiştir. Elde edilen veriler sosyolojik bir bakış açısıyla değerlendirilmiş, tespit edilen sorunların çözümü ve başarı grafiğinin artırılması için öneriler getirilmiştir. Sociological View of Distance Education In Nevşehir University Among other universities that are opened at 2007, Nevşehir University is a young university that grows academically and physically faster. Among the modern universities that have grown fast and advanced in technology, Nevsehir University has also added the distance education program that is conducted with the resources of information technology. In this study, the achievement graphic that is expected from distance education, that is performed for the first time in 2012-2013 fall semester for some courses in Nevsehir University, has been researched. With this purpose, a survey has been done on the students that have distance education in order to identify their satisfactions, expectations and problems. The results have been viewed from a sociological point of view; recommendations have been made for the solution of identified problems and for improving the achievement graphic.
