AbstractarThe link of novel with history seems to be deep- rooted in history since the time of Aristotle and his subdivisions , but before the history was a science , it was a collection of stories which are told , and at the same time it required a lot of the vocabulary used in the novel ( such as narrated , told , recited ….etc .) Therefore , there were some points of adjacency between them . The history can not be reflected in novel , as far as it presents answers to the questions of the present.In this study , we stand on the aspects of connection between the historical and the imagined through the narration of «Ghada Rashid» by Ali Al Jarem , the great poet and scholar , depicting the manifestations of literary discourse and the referential reality within the text , and how the text could the text present history in a narrative discourse highlights classical aesthetics neglected by the discourses related to the modernist horizons.
