Abstract:

A variety of therapeutic methods have been developed in the field of medicine from ancient times to today. One of these methods was the treatment method with plants. In the 14th century, many works were written about plant therapy. In particular, from the 15th century, the contribution of works written in the field of medicine to the scientific language of Turkey is great. Many of the works are written in different languages. Some of these works have been translated into Turkish. These works have enriched our language. It has also made a significant contribution to the medical field. The work we work is Arabic. Translated into Turkish by the name Ibn Baytar. The translated work was presented to Mr Umur. There were 17 pieces of work. It has been translated several times. Some of these translations are presented to other rulers. This increased the importance of the work. There are a lot of plant names. These plants are used to treat various diseases. In addition, there are animals, stones and various foods. The author of the book Ibn-i Baytar is a very knowledgeable and experienced writer on these topics. And he travelled three continents to gather material for his works. The author has collected a lot of materials. These materials are presented with all their characteristics. He also wrote his names in Arabic, Greek and Persian. He made it so that he didn’t get a place for confusion. It is arranged according to the alphabetical order. There are 2353 articles in this article. There are more than 1,400 medications mentioned. 200 of them are vegetable. There are also new medications.
