Abstract enAlthough Fārābī and Māturīdī have lived in the same period, it is not known to what extent be cognizant of them from each other. However, it can be seen that there are important similarities especially in terms of worldview between these two great Turkish scholars despite the differences in terms of their terminologies and resources. It is discussed here that multilayer and multicultural structure of the Islamic world can be managed with a political approach which may develop in the centre of intellect, for both Fārābī and Māturīdī. In this context, Fārābī with the teaching of Millah and Māturīdī with his imposed meanings to the concept of the Sharia have relied on the relationship between politics and religion a universal basis.
