Abstract:

The processes of art and craftsmanship and the art life practice are differently presented and understood. The art has seen this practice, through the economic systems and the institutions that these systems presented, and has given its struggle throughout the art history. Although the craftsmanship disappears over time, the profession has retained its character and in the form of new professions in the direction of industrial changes (technician, engineer, etc.) has appeared. While art is avoided by the technical dimension of human creative work, by the structure of the artwork and the production process, the crafts has been attempted to be incorporated into the art by turning into different forms. Art has been constantly seen as an opponent of craftsmanship, and this misconception has emerged from the point of view of the art and craftsmanship’s internal operations and the product they present. But art has been in an opposite attitude to nature, and the artist has tried to create its own original nature. Today, either intentionally or unintentionally, the evaluation of these two concepts in this way leads to the birth of a thought that everything can be art.
